Niagara Catholic Skype with Sudan’s Salva:

On March http://southbuffalonews.com7, 20http://southbuffalonews.com6, Niagara Catholic Jr./Sr. High School students, faculty, and staff had the opportunity to Skype with Salva from South Sudan, Africa.  Salva leads Water for South Sudan, Inc., a non-profit organization he founded in 2003.  Salva educates people and fund-raises for the work of Water for South Sudan.

The students of Niagara Catholic had questions for Salva, and he did his best to answer them.  Salva gave an emotional response when he told us we are very lucky to live in America and have many opportunities that others in different countries do not.  When Salva was asked what his favorite American food was he said “whole milk.”  Salva said the people in South Sudan cannot eat three meals a day or have the resources to get water.
