From the Rivera theater to dozens of local shops, Webster Street in North Tonawanda has a little bit of something for everyone.

One thing it does not have, however, is a posted speed limit.

Mayor Art Pappas says he has received concern from residents about excessive speeding.

The problematic section between Goundry and Tremont Street.

One solution City leaders are looking into is the possibility of putting a 20 MPH posted speed limit on that section of Webster Street.

Because of all of the nightlife and local stops in the area, some fear pedestrian safety could be an issue.
