We Asked, You Voted: Restaino Comes Out On Top in Debate #1

Niagara Falls Mayoral candidates Robert M. Restaino and Seth Piccirillo squared off in the first of two debates on Thursday, May 30th, 2019, at the Earl Brydges Library on Main Street in Niagara Falls.

In addition to more than one hundred and fifty people attending in-person, hundreds of others tuned in live to the Niagara Reporter and Niagara Gazette’s livestream. In the days following the debate, more than four thousand people watched the debate on the Niagara Reporter’s Facebook page alone.

A poll was created on Facebook which allowed viewers and city residents to vote on who came out on top in the debate. In all, 293 people voted in the poll:

153 people voted for Robert M. Restaino and 140 people voted for Seth Piccirillo.

The two candidates will square off again on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, at the Niagara Falls Public Library on Buffalo Avenue. Who will come out on top? Tune in to the Niagara Reporter’s livestream starting at 5:45pm and find out!
