Niagara Falls Police responded to 7-Eleven around 1030 hours on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, after reports that a store manager had been slapped in the face by a customer.
According to police, the complainant stated that she and her staff were in the process of removing a customer from the store when an unknown black female suspect interjected herself into the situation stating that she was “offended” that the staff was removing a known shoplifter from the sore. This unknown female became irate and slapped the manager in the face.
The suspect is described as a black female in her 30’s who left in a white Chevrolet Traverse driven by her mother. Police were able to check the registration for the vehicle and found it was owned by a resident on Willow Avenue.
Police went and interviewed the vehicle owner who stated that she was aware of the incident at 7-Eleven but refused to tell police who the suspect was.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
