Niagara Falls Police responded to an assault that occurred around 2100 hours at the Subway on Pine Avenue on Friday, February 12th, 2021.

According to police, the victim stated that there were several customers and she was the only employee so the line was slow. At one point, the customer she was serving became irate and argumentative and proceeded to throw a full drink at her. Upon trying to escort the customer out of the restaurant, the customer attacked her.

The employee was hit several times in the face and fell to the ground where the customer continued to kick her. The employee sustained a laceration to her right temple, bruising, a bloody nose, and severe pain.

The suspect was described as a thin black female in her 30’s. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
