Niagara Falls Police responded to Ventry’s Pizza on the 100 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard around 1345 hours on Thursday, March 25th, 2021, after reports of a robbery. Upon arriving at the scene, police observed that two black males had ran southbound on 100th Street, went westbound on 99th Street, over a hill and into an apartment complex. According to restaurant employees, they were in the dining room and heard a loud bang and saw two suspects in hoodies running out of the restaurant with a cash register. It is unknown how much money was in the register which was eventually recovered from a backyard nearby.

Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1800 block of Pierce Avenue around 2330 hours on Friday, March 26th, 2021, after reports of a disturbance at Ventry’s Pizzeria. According to police, an employee stated that he was working behind the counter when two black males entered. One stood by the entrance while the other stood off to the side. The one black male lunged forward and grabbed the store’s cash register and then ran towards the door which was opened by the other male. Once outside the restaurant, the suspect holding the cash register ran out of his right sneaker leaving it directly in front of the restaurant. Police believe the suspects were running towards a running vehicle that was waiting for them. However, the suspects were being pursued by an employee(s). The suspect then threw down the register onto the ground and both he and the second suspect jumped into the moving vehicle. No currency appeared to have been taken by the suspects but the register was not operate and is estimated to have a $300 value.

No further information is available at this time for either incident and no arrests have been made.
