Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1700 block of Lafayette Avenue around 2044 hours on Monday, February 22nd, 2021, after reports of a boyfriend providing alcohol to a minor.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the father of an 18-year-old girl who is dating a 23-year-old male. The father told police that over the past two months he has observed alcoholic beverages at his daughter’s apartment which are supplied by the boyfriend. The father further told police that he has advised the boyfriend to stop providing his daughter with alcohol but it continues to happen.

Police then spoke with the 18-year-old female who stated that she willingly drinks the alcoholic beverages and at no time has she ever been forced to do anything against her will.

No further action would be taken at this time.
