Niagara Falls Police responded to McDonalds on the 1700 block of Pine Avenue around 0330 hours on Thursday, March 4th, 2021, after reports of a fight.

Upon arriving at the scene, the complainant stated that a McDonalds employee punched her in the face. The complainant further stated that she was in the drive-thru and exited her vehicle to speak with a friend who was behind them in line. She then states that the employee got on the intercom and started arguing with her.

Once getting closer to the drive-thru window, the employee swung at the complainant and missed, to which the complainant spit at her. The employee punched again and struck a blow to the lip which caused a minor cut to her lip.

The employee told police that she was merely trying to defend herself.
