-Niagara Falls Police responded to Cocktail Bob’s Tavern on Cudaback Avenue on Sunday, December 1st, 2019, after reports that a female was lying on the floor bleeding from trauma to her head and face. The bartender told police that a group of females attacked the victim by kicking her, punching her, and even throwing a glass bottle at her. a pregnant woman was saitaken to Oishei Children’s Hospital early Sunday after she was assaulted inside a Cudaback Avenue tavern, Niagara Falls police said. Police are hoping to identify the suspect through surveillance video. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and to make sure her baby was safe.
-Niagara Falls Police and Fire responded to the 2700 block of Willow Avenue in the evening hours of Monday, December 2nd, 2019, after reports of a vehicle crashing into a house. Police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
-Samantha Klein, who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of 3-month-old Alaya Foster, was sentenced in the morning hours of Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019, to 25 years to life. Klein was also sentenced on charges of robbery and the sale of narcotics to a uncover law enforcement officer. Sadly, it was learned during statements made by the District Attorney’s Office that Klein took to Google regarding what to do with the child rather than calling 911. According to County Court Judge Matthew Murphy, Klein will serve her sentences concurrent with the one for manslaughter.
-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1600 block of Pine Avenue in the morning hours of Friday, December 6th, 2019, after reports of criminal mischief. According to police, at some point during the prior night someone broke windows of the store. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
-Niagara Falls Police, assisted by Border Patrol, executed a warrant in the afternoon hours of Friday, December 6th, 2019, at 7716 Buffalo Avenue. According to reports, Border Patrol was involved so that they could assist with KP units. Police say that two people were arrested as a result of the warrant and multiple bags of evidence was taken out of the building. Althoug this is the address of Submasters, they were not the subject of the warrant. Rather, it was the apartment above Submasters that was the subject of the warrant.
-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1800 block of 16th Street in the evening hours of Sunday, December 8th, 2019, after reports of shots fired. In addition to police, Niagara Falls Fire Department personnel, along with several AMR ambulances, were on scene where at least one person was transported to the hospital after sustaining serious gunshot wounds. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
