The Book Corner Celebrates 96 Years With Off-Beat Cinema!

Now is your chance to be seen on national television at The Book Corner, a three story high family-owned local book store owned by Jeff Morrow. “We’re celebrating 96 years of business,” says Morrow. On Saturday, September 23rd, Buffalo-based television series Off-Beat Cinema will be filming live at The Book Corner, located at 1801 Main Street in Niagara Falls, NY (between the Rapids Theater and the police station).

The live taping will include a painting being created by five artists simultaneously, live musical performances from Mister Thank You and Joe Mombrea, door prizes, and refreshments provided by Marketside Restaurant and DiCamillos. The event will take place between 4 PM and 8 PM. Bring a non-perishable food item to enter for a chance to win a door prize (one item equals one ticket). Food donations will go to support Community Missions.

Admission is free and donations are encouraged. All proceeds go to support the Book Corner. Off-Beat Cinema is a longtime running nationally syndicated show which airs on WBBZ-TV and MeTV, in 101 cities nationwide!

Local authors such as Jesse Zuefle (Rombustious) and James Ventry (The Hypocrisy of America) will be in attendance selling and signing their books. Be there or be square!
