Shooting Suspect Apprehended in Niagara Falls

Arion Darrell was arrested on Friday, December 4th, 2020, for the murder of John Bruso at 19th Street and Welch Avenue in Niagara Falls.

Bruso, a teenager, was shot several times while sitting in a parked car on Welch Avenue off of 19th Street on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020.

Darrell was arrested in a home on the 600 block of 7th Street in Niagara Falls. He was taken into custody without incident and is being charged with Murder 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd.

He is set to be arraigned and the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office is said to be seeking no bail.
