The Niagara Falls Republican Leadership is planning to honor their lone elected representative in city government, Councilman Kenny Tompkins, on Thursday, April 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p. m. at Gagsters, 708 E. Market Street.
Tompkins, who campaigned on taking a business approach to running city government, has already make his mark by saving the Memorial Day Parade (see separate story) this year without using taxpayer money, a theme of his successful campaign last year.
The event at Gagsters will feature a light buffet and a cash bar with a $25 ticket price according to Michael Gawel who will emcee the gathering to honor Tompkins.
