Our third Community Memorial Day Parade is fast approaching on Saturday, May 26 and we need your help to make this the BEST parade to date. Already, we have more bands lined up than in the past, as well as some interesting additions to our units, such as the Pin-Up Girls. However, the type of support that has made this parade as true community event comes from groups like our scouting troops, church and civic organizations, and others who want to honor those who sacrificed all.

We need YOU!

If you lead an organization or have a business, please consider entering a unit in this parade. Each year, we receive high praise for the diverse groups that take part. We have awards for the best three floats, as well. Anything patriotic is a real crowd pleaser.

You don’t have to enter a float either. You and your group could walk (or drive a decorated vehicle) and pass out candy to the crowds that line the streets. Dance troops, steppers, and twirlers are welcome to perform as the make their way to the park. The more the merrier. Last year we had 90 units and we’d like to keep growing this parade.

We hope you will join us and register today. Please contact me at Kenny.tompkins@yahoo.com or call me at 716.940.7092. I’ll get you the forms you need to complete and send in. So that we can have our lineup ready before the event, please let us know by May 15.

This parade is rapidly becoming the biggest parade Niagara Falls has had in years. We need you and your group to help us continue to grow this tradition.
