The proposed school budget has passed!! Here are a few highlights of what to expect:
To increase the total amount to $144,214,871, a 2.34 per- cent increase from the previous year, with no increase to the tax levy.
To authorize the lease-purchase of a maximum of $650,000 in trucks and tractors, $140,000 of which would be paid off in the 2018-19 academic year.
The Niagara Falls City School District would like to note that if this proposed budget does not pass it could force possible cuts to student supplies, programs and transportation as well as place restrictions on community use of school buildings.
