The Niagara County Department of Health updated the current confirmed number of COVID-19 cases in the County to 56 earlier today. Although the Health Department is no longer conducting contact tracing for each of the individuals, they are tracking where each one lives.

Currently, Niagara Falls leads the County of positive cases with 12. Wheatfield is close behind at 10 followed by North Tonawanda with 8. Both the Town of Lockport and City of Lockport have 6 confirmed cases. The Town of Lewiston has 4 confirmed cases, Town of Pendleton with 3, Town of Porter with 2, Town of Newfane with 2, and Town of Niagara with 1.

Included in these are two one-year-old children who tested positive for COVID-19 and are being monitored closely due to their age. The Niagara Reporter will provide updates as more information becomes available.
