Updating a previous report, the Niagara Reporter has learned that all four positive COVID-19 cases have originated, or tested positive for the Coronavirus, in the City of Niagara Falls.

Niagara County Public Health Director Daniel J. Stapleton confirmed this morning, on March 19th, 2020, that the New York State Department of Health has confirmed three new positive test results for COVID-19 in Niagara County.

This announcement comes just two days after Niagara County’s first positive case of the Coronavirus which was confirmed to have been discovered at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Since that time, Niagara County Legislature Chair Becky Wydysh stated that there are at least thirty-four (34) individuals self-quarantining who are not symptomatic.

The Niagara Reporter will keep you up-to-date as more information becomes available.
