The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

• 5 new positive cases
• Total of 1425 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
• 34 active cases (30 isolating at home, 4 in hospital)
• 1293 recovered
• 98 deaths
• 50,707 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )

Quarantines, unlike isolations, are for people who are well and not showing symptoms, but may have been exposed to the virus.  Right now, 67 people are in quarantine and 1428 have completed quarantine.
