The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

We regretfully report the death of a 97 year-old female nursing home resident with underlying health conditions. We extend our deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

The rest of update is as follows:

  • 82 new positive cases
  • Total of 2541 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
  • 342 active cases (333 isolating at home, 9 in hospital)
  • 2096 recovered
  • 103 deaths
  • 136,821 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )
