The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

We regretfully report the death of two Niagara County residents.  We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of these two individuals:

• A 94 year-old female with underlying health conditions
• An 89 year-old female with underlying health conditions

  The rest of the update is as follows:

  •             10 new positive cases
  •             Total of 1580 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
  •             52 active cases (49 isolating at home, 3 in hospital)
  •             1427 recovered
  •             101 deaths
  •             68,188 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )
