Memorabilia from Niagara Catholic High School, including trophies, portraits, banners and clothing will be sold at a private sale for alumni, former staff and family on Thursday, Aug. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The sale will be held at the school, 520 66th St., Niagara Falls.
All items will be sold first come-first serve for cash. Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund providing tuition assistance to current students who plan to continue their education at another Catholic high school.
The event will ensure that alumni receive “first dibs” on items of value to them prior to the final asset auction to be conducted Aug. 25 by Cash Cunningham Appraisals.
In addition to this effort to ensure that memorabilia remain with those who cherish it, some items have already been donated to the Niagara Falls Public Library to be preserved in the Local History archives.
The Aug. 23 sale will be held in the St. Dominic Savio wing. Participants should enter through the front entrance to the annex.
