NIAGARA FALLS BREAKING NEWS

This newspaper has learned that Niagara Falls police are investigating Councilman William Kennedy in connection with an auto accident he was involved in where he allegedly claimed he was a police officer.

The accident occurred this week, sources say, on Tuesday, September 17th, that during said incident Kennedy brandished a badge to the motorist involved in the accident with him.

Police officials could not be reached for comment Saturday but one off-duty, high-ranking, NFPD official confirmed an investigation is indeed under way.

The Niagara Reporter will provide updates from the police department as they become available.
