New York Governor Andrew Cuomo

 

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced at a press conference this morning that all 100% of the workforce must stay home. This means that all NON-ESSENTIAL employees are to not report to work.

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES as defined by the governor have included:

-healthcare workers

-workers at grocery stores

-law enforcement, fire fighters, emergency management response, and similar jobs

-food processors

-utilities and construction workers
