The Niagara Reporter was forwarded a statement from former Niagara Falls City Councilwoman Kristen Grandinetti regarding the heated 2019 council race between Alicia Kenyon, Donta Myles, John Spanbauer and Kenny Tompkins.

According to a social media post, former Councilwoman Grandinetti is throwing her full support behind long-time friend and political ally Alicia Kenyon.

Grandinetti stated in a social media post to vote for Kenyon to “give women a voice in the city.”

Kenyon is also a longtime ally of outgoing Mayor Paul Dyster and has run twice before under her maiden name Alicia Laible.
