Rumors have been swirling in Niagara Falls that the Como Restaurant, located on Pine Avenue, is closed for good.

Although the Como Restaurant did shut its doors in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this closure was merely temporary.

The Niagara Reporter has been told directly by management of the Como that they are not closing permanently and expect to open in late July or early August. That is, of course, contingent on the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rumors caused a great many people on social media to express their anxiety over losing a cornerstone of Little Italy in Niagara Falls.

Fortunately for the city, that is not the case.
