The Niagara County Department of Health has released updated numbers for positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday, April 24th, 2020, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 359. This increase of thirty-three cases comes on the heels of a day where there were thirty-two positive cases added. This marks the largest two-day increase of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Niagara County to date.
Also of import is that Niagara Falls, which has led each municipality throughout this pandemic, has crossed the 100-cases mark. As of today, there are 107 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Niagara Falls. A full graph of municipalities can be found below.
Niagara County Legislative Chair Becky Wydysh has said earlier this week that data suggests Niagara County has not reached a plateau of positive cases yet. As such, increased testing is expected to only increase these numbers.
