Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel is preparing to reopen for the first time since being shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The casino is currently in the process of deep cleaning its game floor and restaurants ahead of a planned September 9th re-opening date.

Following guidance from New York State, Batavia Downs is planning on 25% capacity with only about half of the number of games available.

Batavia Downs is also adding more than 120 hand sanitizing stations throughout the premises.

The casino opens at 8am, Wednesday, September 9th, 2020, and will be open until 4am, seven days a week.
