Homeowner was devastated to find out that he could not keep the pigs, although what he intended to do with them remains to be seen.

Today members from the Niagara Falls Police Department and Animal Control were out in the 600 block of 25th removing pigs from a home.

We were told that the pigs were relocated to a rescue farm where they will live out the rest of their lives worry free of becoming bacon.

Although the pigs look healthy, Niagara Falls City ordinance 701.02 prohibits any livestock in residential area of Niagara Falls.

It is unknown if any charges or citations will be filed against the homeowner.
