Mount St. Mary’s Hospital has large turnout for fundraiser at Como Restaurant

The annual reverse draw of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital was held Feb. 28 at the Como Restaurant. Nearly 280 people attended. It was covened by the Mount St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, St. Francis Guild Auxiliary and the board of associates.
Funds raised are directed to the foundation’s small grants program in the hospital.
Saluted at the event were Robert Burns of Tim Hortons, the Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club and Wendy and Curt Stuart of Stuart Sports.

A $1,000 reverse draw dinner was the feature.  Complimentary beer and wine kicked things off at 6 p.m., followed by a family-style Italian dinner at 7 p.m. and the drawing at 8 p.m.

Donations were $50 per person. Proceeds go to departmental grants and nurse education.
