The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:
- 7 new positive cases
- Total of 294 to date
- 126 in isolation
- 112 isolating at home
- 14 in hospital isolation
- 151 recovered
- 17 deaths
- 1391 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.
ny.gov/) - 129 people quarantined
- 351 completed quarantines
Of the 294 positive cases, Niagara Falls continues to lead the County with 82 confirmed cases followed closely by Lockport (Town and City) with 54. A full breakdown by municipality is provided below.
More important than the number of total positive cases, however, is that there are currently only 126 active cases of COVID-19 across Niagara County. This means that 151 individuals have recovered from their illness.
