THE CRIME NF: Second Violent Altercation Outside Local Bar in Two Weeks Leaves Victim Seriously Injured

Niagara Falls Police responded to the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center around 0120 hours on Thursday, March 25th, 2021, after reports of an assault that occurred at 87 Buff on the 8600 block of Buffalo Avenue.

Police did speak with the victim who presented with scrapes on both knees and multiple contusions on his head. The victim stated that he was at 87 Buff when two unknown males became argumentative and accusatory with him regarding another patron at the bar. The victim attempted to reduce tension and left the bar at which point he walked to his vehicle which was parked on Buffalo Avenue in front of the LaSalle Library.

It was at this point the two unknown males followed him and continued taunting him. It was at this point the two men began to hit the victim with a closed fist to the face and head. The victim could not recall the exact amount of times. A third male ran over and began hitting the victim as well. At one point, the victim heard one of the males shout, “don’t call the police because I am the police!”

All three aggressors left in what was described as a black Chevrolet Silverado.

The victim described the first suspect as a young white male, 5’8”, 150 pounds with facial hair wearing a black striped shirt. The second suspect was described as an older Mexican male, 5’9”, 250 pounds with a plan black shit. The third suspect was described as a white male, 6’2”, 170 pounds, wearing a blue shirt.

No further information is available at this time.
