In response to yesterday’s announcement from Governor Cuomo about the implementation of the ‘SWAT’ rapid COVID-19 testing sites being set up around Western New York, the senior lunch program at the John A. Duke Senior Center is temporarily suspended from August 31 to September 2, 2020.

The current schedule for the rapid COVID-19 testing at the John A. Duke Senior Center is from Saturday, August 29 to Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

Seniors are asked not to come to the Duke Senior Center for lunches on those days, and instead go to the LaSalle Senior Center, as residents who will be at the Duke Senior Center looking to be tested for COVID-19 may present a risk to senior citizens.

The senior lunch program is currently scheduled to resume at the Duke Senior Center on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
