Old Fort Niagara 5k Race to be held Rain, Snow or Shine

Please join us on Saturday, December 10, for the Holiday 5K at Old Fort Niagara.

Soldiers will fire their muskets at 10:30 am sharp to signal the start of the race which will take place entirely within Fort Niagara State Park. The course will feature amazing views of Fort Niagara State Park; the scenic Lower Niagara River; Lake Ontario; Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada; Historic Old Fort Niagara, and the Toronto skyline!

Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and beautiful hand-crafted custom finisher medals will be provided to all participants! Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. 70-74, 75-79, 80 and older.

Online registration using ItsYourRace will remain open right up until the start of the race. Entry fee is $30 ($35 after 12/1/16).

Race Management Solutions also takes finish line photos at most races. These PHOTOS can be accessed from the results page on ItsYourRace.com where they can be socially shared on Facebook at no charge. High resolution images can be purchased for a small fee and custom race certificates are also available for FREE once results are made official.

Finish line and timing services are being provided by Race Management Solutions. RESULTS will be streamed live to ItsYourRace.com where they can be accessed immediately following the race, or you can link to Facebook and have your time instantaneously posted to all your friends! You can also stop by our race results kiosk near the finish line to see how you did!

Join us after the race for a post race celebration including a Ploughman’s lunch inside of the fort and access to all buildings and exhibits. Plenty of free parking will be available inside of Fort Niagara State Park at/near the finish line. The race will be capped at 300 runners so register early to guarantee your spot in this historic event!
