On June 7, 2021, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Niagara Falls Police Officers responded to the area of 19th and Niagara Street for a report of shots fired.
Shortly after arrival, Officers were advised that a victim had been located in a yard in the 400 block of 18th Street.
Officers administered aid until Niagara Falls Fire Department arrived. The victim was transported to ECMC by ambulance for a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim is a 29-year-old resident of Niagara Falls. The victim underwent surgery last night and is currently listed in critical condition at ECMC.
