On http://southbuffalonews.com2/26 at http://southbuffalonews.com:30 a.m. Niagara Falls Police Officers responded to 947 Ontario Ave. for a man stabbed.
Despite an officer being a block away, arriving in seconds and performing CPR on the victim; he succumbed to his wound.
26 year old Niagara Falls resident, Troy Haslip died of a single stab wound to the heart.
William E. Swanson, 22, of http://southbuffalonews.com837 Jerauld Av was charged with Manslaughter in the First degree by detectives at approximately http://southbuffalonews.com:00 p.m. in relation to this incident.
According to Kelly J. Rizzo, Chief of Detectives, Niagara Falls Police Department, family members said the victim and suspect were known to each other. Police are investigating the possible motive behind the killing.
