Officials from several local organizations will announce details Friday of “Niagara Free Wi-Fi,” a public-private collaborative initiative to bring complimentary wireless internet access to the downtown corridor of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
The event takes place at 3 p.m. this Friday, April 27, on Old Falls Street near the main entrance to the Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls (101 Old Falls St., Niagara Falls, N.Y.).
Contributing organizations include Niagara University and its Niagara Global Tourism Institute; the New York Power Authority; city of Niagara Falls; USA Niagara Development Corporation/Empire State Development; Destination Niagara USA; Niagara County Community College; Maid of the Mist Corporation; Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls; 34 Group; and Transwave Communications.
Media representatives are invited to attend.
