The City of Niagara Falls released the following statement regarding police vehicles obtained from the Town of Niagara through a new partnership:

Mayor Robert Restaino and the City of Niagara Falls would like to express appreciation to the Town of Niagara for its generous offer to provide the town’s surplus police vehicles to the city at a very affordable cost.

“Since coming to City Hall, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Niagara Town Supervisor Lee Wallace on various collaborative efforts. This is another example of the benefits of governments working together,” said Mayor Restaino. “Thank you to Supervisor Wallace, the Town Board, and Town of Niagara Police Chief Jim Suitor for this opportunity.” The city has been in need of improvement to its police vehicle fleet. Interim Niagara Falls Police Superintendent, John Faso, also expressed his appreciation to the Town of Niagara, Town Board, and Chief Suitor for assisting the City with this offer.
