Award-Winning Local Author Hosting Children’s Holiday Book Signing and Craft

Newfane-based author Diana Tuorto will host a children’s craft and book signing at Artisan Alley (2714 Main Street, Newfane) during Small Business Saturday on November 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The store will also have live music from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

How Angel Horses Become Unicorns was selected as a Finalist in the 2022 Independent Author Network Book of the Year Children’s Fiction Illustrated category.

Diana’s books recently won Honorable Mentions in the Purple Dragonfly Awards, in addition to Story Monsters Approved! awards and honors at the 2021 EQUUS Film and Arts Festival.

Most of Diana’s books are written from a horse’s point of view. Her books range from an illustrated picture book (ages 4-7+) and easy reader (5-8+) to three middle grade novels (8-12+).

A portion of Diana’s book proceeds benefit several equine charities and rescues.
