Christina Custode of Niagara Falls, a four-time Artvoice Vocalist of the Year, is being included in a special Christmas edition compilation by Independent No. 1, India’s largest independent label well known for introducing independent artists and groups to fans and media across the Middle East.
Custode’s “The Mistletoe Song,” written and produced by Lew Custode and Stephen Parisi, will be included in WOA Records Special Edition Christmas Compilation, according to a news release from Custode Music that states the song “captures Custode’s beautiful tone quality and sensitive phrasing,” and is especially geared to the emotion of the Christmas season.
According to Custode Music, the special compilation has strong media backing with guaranteed airplay on various radio stations, venues, malls and restaurants all partnered with WOA International. It is intended to support independent musicians via the various WOA International platforms available to Indie acts. The special holiday compilation is scheduled for one month of exclusive radio programming on the nationally syndicated and globally licensed radio show, WOAFM99 Radio, all through this month.
The album includes 22 holiday songs by Indie artists and is available at major stores around the world with an exclusive price only offered on CDBaby. Streaming services are available including Spotify, Apple Music and iHeartradio at Independent No. 1’s Christmas Special Deluxe Edition (http//www.cdbaby.com/cd/independentno1schristmas2).
Custode is a classically trained pianist, vocalist, composer/arranger and graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music. She is up for nomination in five categories for a Grammy Award for her song “Fire” that she says was born in the spirit of determination during a particularly difficult period in her life.
