Danielle Dujenski of Machias, NY, and her 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Pheonix

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement regarding Daniel Verratti who was involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in the death of Danielle Dujenski of Machias, NY, and her 2 1/2-year-old daughter, Pheonix, on Thursday, November 26th, 2020:

As a result of the investigation into the accident at Lewiston Road and Griswold Street in the Town of Royalton on 11/25/20, Verratti was issued two uniform traffic tickets. One ticket was failure to stop at a stop sign and the other ticket was failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. These tickets were issued after conferring with the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Verratti will be arraigned on those two traffic tickets at a later date in the Town of Royalton Court.
