The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:
We regretfully report the death of a 61 year-old Niagara County resident who had underlying health conditions. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
The rest of the update is as follows:
- 172 new positive cases
- Total of 6172 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
- 1792 active cases (1757 isolating at home, 35 in hospital)
- 4261 recovered
- 119 deaths
- 191,571 tests of Niagara County residents (https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/)
