Niagara County COVID-19 Update for Wednesday, July 1st, 2020

The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:

•             3 new positive cases

•             Total of 1252 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)

•             35 active cases (35 isolating at home, 0 in hospital)

•             1128 recovered

•             89 deaths (no change)

•             32,792 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )

Quarantines, unlike isolations, are for people who are well and not showing symptoms, but may have been exposed to the virus.  Right now, 55 people are in quarantine and 1170 have completed quarantine.
