The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:  

• 2 new positive cases 

• 1,510 total positive cases to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)  

• 34 active cases (29 isolating at home, 5 in hospital)  

• 1,377 recovered  

• 99 deaths  

• 60,486 people tested (source: https://covid19tracker.health.ny.gov/ )  

Quarantines, unlike isolations, are for people who are well and not showing symptoms, but may have been exposed to the virus.  Right now, 124 people are in quarantine and 1,499 have completed quarantine.
