Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Niagara University will dedicate the new Tenth Street Café at Memorial Medical Center, 621 10th St, first floor, Niagara Falls, on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
The café – a joint venture that has attracted national attention from the food service industry – is located on the medical center's first floor and offers a variety of fresh, homemade menu choices and gourmet pizzas in a comfortable, modern setting.
Among the luminaries attending will be Niagara University President, the Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., D.Min; Memorial Medical Center Board Chair James C. Roscetti and President & CEO Joseph A. Ruffolo; Scott A. Beahen, director of Foodservice Operations at Niagara University; Cannon Design Principal Michael A. Mistriner, A.I.A.; Café Manager and Executive Chef LaMont Singletary.
If you can't make it for the dedication ceremony, you can always come by when you're hungry. You don't have to be a patient, a visitor of a patient or a hospital employee to dine here either. This novel concept, which brings appetizing, yet affordable food choices - good as you'd get in any home style restaurant - inside the walls of a bustling major hospital - is yet another way Memorial is leading the country in innovation.
