Grandinetti Extends Congrats to Slaughter in Crudely Worded Statement

Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (l) is given some advice by Niagara Falls Councilwoman Kristen Grandinetti.

Kristen Grandinetti, the lone female member of the city council, crudely congratulated long- time member of Congress, Louise Slaughter, upon the congresswoman’s recent appointment as theranking member of the House Committee on Rules.

In a Nov 20th posting on her own Facebook page, Grandinetti wrote, “I love you Congresswoman. Ithank you for being my mentor, Congrats. I am so proud of you, God Bless. Kick some DC ass!”

Louise Slaughter, while being a hard-bitten and tough female politician, is also a classy womanwho hails from Kentucky. As a genuine southern lady she has the ability to either charm heropponent or duke it out on the floor of Congress.

Nobody’s fool, Mrs. Slaughter hardly needs to be told by the likes of Ms. Grandinetti how tocomport herself in Washington.

Turnabout is fair play. Perhaps Ms. Slaughter might advise Councilwoman Grandinetti to kicksome mayor’s ass.

And balance the damn budget!
