No limits Poker Tournament to be held in Niagara for Diabetes Research

A poker tournament on January 9 will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Western New York.
“Team In For a Penny” will host the event at 5 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Town of Niagara Community Center, Lockport Road, Town of Niagara.
The event is being hosted by the JDRF fundraising team that’s named for Niagara Falls resident Penny Lane, a juvenile diabetes patient.
The event will be a no-limit hold ’em tournament, with half the winnings being split among the winners and JDRF getting the other half. Blinds will double on a regular basis until a winner is crowned. Pizza will be provided for free; alcohol will be sold.
