When Will the Celebrations Resume?

The global economy has taken a shellacking in recent months, but the full extent of the damage is far from done. Subdued celebrations on Independence Day are testament to the effects of the New World order as it impacts countless millions of people from all walks of life. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly share the same fate – and it is up to us to make lemonade with the lemons we’ve been given.

Fortunately, all is not lost as every cloud has a silver lining. The indomitable human spirit remains defiant in the face of adversity. We will triumph. We will overcome. The paradigm shift we are experiencing has brought plenty of innovation to the fore. Now more so than ever before, citizens of the world are united in their resolve to triumph against adversity.

As solutions are sought, humanity will ultimately reveal its tender side with compassion, care, and solidarity. We may not have reason to celebrate at this time, as difficulties continue, but we are all part and parcel of a great big family looking out for one another. The sages always reflect on adversity by focusing on the positive. ‘Turn that frown upside down’, ‘The glass is not half empty – it’s half full’, ‘Those who laugh, last’, et al. And so, this too shall come to pass, and the world will be a better place for it.

For now, we must bide our time and strengthen the bonds that bind. We may take comfort in one another’s company, or seek a little time to ourselves to enjoy those things that interest us. Perhaps you enjoy blackjack online in Canada, writing fairytale stories for the young at heart, or pursuing a vocation that you’ve been putting off for too long.

United We Stand for All Mankind Now and Forever

Whatever it is that gives us pleasure without detracting from somebody else’s well-being is certainly fair game. At times when nothing much makes sense, we can take heart in the knowledge that we are all going through this together. Our families, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances are inextricably intertwined in this journey of life. Now is the time to cherish the bonds that bind, mend broken hearts, and spend time with the people who matter. If nothing else, we have learned about the frailties of life. Our immunity to the world around us and all the malevolent elements that threaten us is sorely lacking, but our resolve to overcome is stronger than ever. It’s tough to see the wood from the trees at times, but hope is always on the horizon.

Our world has overcome tremendous adversity to become the thriving global community of today. Challenges remain, and difficulties will sideswipe us in the future. Yet we must stand tall. We must deliver for ourselves and one another. We cannot help but steel our resolve against the unseen elements, forging a righteous path forward. Lest we get caught up in our own despair, it is absolutely vital to take part in the knowledge that everything returns to equilibrium – homeostasis – after the turmoil.

The rising and falling of the tide invariably result in calm waters. It is this selfsame mindset that we must aspire towards if we are to find inner peace and lasting happiness. These are not the musings of Tibetan monks and llamas; they are the mantra that humanity clings to when the chips are down. In life, as in the game of blackjack, you don’t need perfection to win out in the end – you simply need to win, to score that unassailable victory. It will take tremendous effort for us to overcome our challenges collectively, but overcome we shall. On that day, the celebrations will resume in earnest!
