Three Indicted in Death of Niagara Falls Resident Kenneth Walaszek

Niagara County District Attorney Brian Seaman announced that two Adolescent Offenders, as well as an adult, Tramaine Sanchez, were arraigned today on an Indictment in Niagara County Youth Part by the Honorable Diane Vitello. The defendants were charged in relation to the November 16, 2020 death of Kenneth Walaszek, of Niagara Falls.

Ms. Sanchez and one Adolescent Offender were charged with one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Conspiracy in the Second Degree and were remanded to the Niagara County Jail. The other Adolescent Offender was charged with one count of Assault in the First Degree and one count of Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree and the Judge set bail at $10,000 cash/$20,000 insurance bond or $40,000 partially secured bond.

First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Grand Jury Bureau Chief Ryan Parisi are prosecuting the matter, which is scheduled to return to court on March 9, 2021 at 1:00 for a Discovery Compliance conference.

All charges are merely accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven.
