Niagara Falls Police received a report around 1000 hours on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021, regarding an assault. According to the complainant, he was “jumped” at 87 Buff (8676 Buffalo Avenue) on Saturday, March 13th, 2021. The complainant detailed that while waiting at the bar an unknown individual approached him and became hostile. He further stated that the aggressor pressed up against him and pushed him into the bar while another unknown male punched him in the face. The complainant stated that he was able to get away and ran out the side door exiting onto 87th Street at which time another group of 4-5 people approached him and began punching him in the face. Overall, the complainant detailed 30-40 punches to the face which required treatment at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where he received six sutures above his left eye. Niagara Falls Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
