NF Memorial Day Parade returns, seeks Bands and Organizations to Participate

Yes, there will be a Memorial Day Parade 2023.

On May 27th starting at 10:00 am, there will be a Memorial Day Parade in Niagara Falls. It will not be down Pine Avenue as in years past, but will run right through Hyde Park, down Robbins Drive from Linwood Avenue to the Veterans Monument.

There is ample parking at the stadium and by the monument. With plenty of shade to sit under, it should be a pleasant outing for everyone.

This year, instead of flags along Pine Ave., KIA Memorial Roadmarch, Hands Healing Heroes and NF City Councilman Ken Tompkins in conjunction with The City of Niagara Falls bring to you:

THE FIELD OF FLAGS

It will be located in the grassy area between Pine Ave. and The Veteranโ€™s Monument in Hyde Park. The flags are 3โ€™ x 5โ€™ on 8โ€™ poles and will have a memoriam plaque. Flags are $25 each. Order must be in by May 15.

We are currently looking for groups, bands, and organizations to participate. Feel free to email me at kenny.tompkins@yahoo.com for information.

Sponsors are needed and very much appreciated.

Let us honor those who gave all in defense of our great country.

A ceremony at the Veteranโ€™s Monument will commence at the end of the parade.

Brought to you by KIA Memorial Roadmarch, Hands Healing Heros, the City of Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls Veteran Monument Commission, and Councilman Kenny Tompkins.

Thank you,

Kenny Tompkins
