Memorial Medical Center Schedules Monday Flu Shot Clinic

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will conduct a flu shot clinic on Monday (Feb. 5) from 5 to 8 p.m.

The clinic will be held on the first floor of the Golisano Center for Community Health, 533 10th St.  Both quadrivalent and high dose influenza vaccines will be available.

This year’s flu season is projected to be the worst in a nearly a decade. It is not too late to get vaccinated against the flu; the New York State Department of Health advises that flu season usually peaks in February and continues into May.

Pharmacists will be on hand Monday to answer questions regarding the flu vaccine and the prevention and treatment of the influenza virus.

Patients with health insurance, including Medicare, should be prepared to present their insurance cards. No co-pay will be required.  Individuals who do not have insurance will be charged $25 for the quadrivalent influenza vaccine.

In order to expedite the inoculation process, please wear a short-sleeved shirt or top.
